A pair of antique decorative plaster and wood Italian candelabras

Italy; early 18th century style, possibly made in the 19th century
Approximate size: 81 cm (h) each

A pair of elaborately realized candelabras in carved-wood with traces of former gilding and gesso. The stems turned and flared at the top with elaborate knops and traditional tri-form bases with scrolling feet.

Condition commensurate with age. Minor chips and a small crack to the stucco exterior on one of the stems.
